GETTING STARTED

Who can Join?

Pelikin is available to all Australian residents, 18 years and over.

Verifying Your Identity

We need to verify your identity before you can use Pelikin. No documentation is required, we simply need the following from you:

    • First and Last Name
    • Date of Birth
    • Home Address

All these details are required during the the first stages of the sign-up process and usually can be verified within a matter of seconds.
If for any reason you can’t be verified, we’ll contact you directly.

Loading Money

Loading money onto your Pelikin app is easy and free.

To load money you’ll need to a make bank transfer (from your bank account) to the unique bank details we’ve provided you.

Tap your PROFILE PIC, then tap ADD MONEY and you’ll find your unique bank details ready to go.
Loads are usually available same day or next day, but please allow up to 3 working days.

What wallet will my load arrive in?

This is 100% up to you.

You can choose to load your money into you Card Wallet (linked to your card) or your Travel Wallet (not linked to your card). The Card Wallet is set as the default, but you change that anytime you like.

Tap your PROFILE PIC, tap ADD MONEY, tap AUD CARD WALLET and then select TRAVEL WALLET.

What currencies can I load?

At the moment we’re only accepting loads in Australian Dollars from Australian bank accounts. If you load money from a foreign bank account, the load will be rejected and we’ll send the money back to you.

CARD

Card Delivery

Once you have verified your identity, we’ll start preparing your card for delivery. Please allow up to 10 working days for your card to arrive in your letterbox.

Note: Currently we can only delivery your card to your verified home address.

Card Activation

Once your card has arrived activate it by heading to the ‘CARD’ section of your Pelikin App and tap ‘TAP TO ACTIVATE’.

You’ll need to provide us with your date of birth and the last 4 digits of your card number (located on the back of your card).

Once that’s done, your card can be used right away.

Card Pin

You can view your PIN at anytime by heading to the ‘CARD’ section of your App and by tapping the ‘SHOW PIN’ button in the top left corner of your card.

For your safety, we will only show you one number of your PIN at a time.

Please note, yout PIN cannot be changed and it is not your passcode.

Freeze Your Card

To temporarily freeze your card (aka block it from being used) head to the ‘CARD’ section, double-tap your card and watch it freeze.

If your card is frozen you’ll be unable to use your card online, to make purchases in-store or to withdraw money from an ATM. You can still load money, send money and swap money.

Simply double-tap your frozen card to return your card to its normal self.

Profile

I Couldn't Verify My Identity

This is rare, but it can happen. If we’re unable to verify your identity we’ll provide you a form in your app so that you can contact our Support Squad for help.

In most cases we’ll be able to ask you a couple for questions and then let you try again to create your account.

Update Your Email

If you’d like to update your email address head to the ‘HELP’ section of your Pelikin App and start a chat with one of our Support Squad.

Update Your Handle

We’re not allowing changes to handles just yet.
