I recently lived in Bali for 5 months and found myself absolutely spoilt for choice. There is literally something for everyone, foodies, vegans, meat eaters, plain Janes, coeliacs, fine diners, cheap eats, you name it, Bali’s got it. And the quality is world class. Some of my favourite restaurants ever live in Bali, competing this the likes of some of my fav Melbourne dining institutions.

A healthy hub on Canggu’s main strip. Motion Cafe is an integral part of the Batu Bolong community and serves the most deliciously healthy food. This is one of those places that keeps reminding us that healthy doesn’t have to be boring.

Sisterfields
One of the OGs on the Bali Breakfast scene, smack bang in the middle of Seminyak. You will find all of the typical Aussie brunch dishes here. A taste of home, but in Bali. They’ve been doing this for a while so you can be sure to get a quality feed here.

Sea Circus
One of the funnest little food spots in Seminyak. Besides the super Instagramable colourful wall out the front, there are so many reasons to eat at Sea Circus. And you will find all those reasons on the menu. Literally everything here is good, so everyone will find something they love.

Luigi’s Hot Pizza
Block out Monday night in your diary because Luigi’s is the place to be in Canggu. This open air venue is brings pizza, pasta, drinks and beats in all the right quantities (unlimited). It is a super cool place to chill out, have a boogy and demolish some of the best pizza on the island.

Motel Mexicola
If you’ve never been to Bali, you probably think this is the only restaurant on the island because everyone goes here and everyone shares it on their socials. But there is a reason, and that is because it’ll be one of the funnest feasts you have. Book for a later sitting because once the clock strikes 10pm, the waiters will be pouring free tequila down your throat and you’ll be dancing up on the table tops.
