Using your card in-store

If you’re using your card in-store to make a purchase, be sure to select CREDIT if the machine asks you to select an account. Obviously your Pelikin card isn’t a credit card but that’s just how prepaid cards are authorized around the world.

We’d recommend not using your card for reservations while travelling or for things like car rentals. In fact it’s likely that most merchants won’t accept them for that purpose.

Some ‘NO GO’ zones

Occasionally we find some issues in countries like Cuba, Iran, North Korea and South Korea, but for the most part you’re free to spend away at over 36 million different places around the world.
